The Danish Gymnastics Federation
Since 2016 GymDanmark has used Event IT to administer their most popular form of gymnastics, TeamGym. Today the system provides the fixed framework for running competitions - both when they are organised centrally by GymDanmark and out in the many local gymnastics clubs.

Departments with templates
GymDanmark uses the department feature to manage event planning at main and sub-department level, and the template feature to create new departments and consistent events quickly using shared templates. That gives central control while allowing the individual departments to work independently.
Registering gymnasts
For running competitions, GymDanmark uses Event IT's registration system, where the flow is easily tailored to the individual events and participants.
Membership system
To keep an overview of member information, payments and rolling renewals, GymDanmark administers its members in Event IT's membership system.
Door sales
GymDanmark uses Event IT's system to sell tickets at the door for its events.
PowerCup 2026
In June 2026, PowerCup, the world's largest volleyball tournament for children and young people, was held in Helsinki. For the event, Event IT delivered a complete wristband system together with JM Band, bringing food, drink and access control into one solution. The system reduced manual administration and the risk of errors, minimised queues and gave both guests and staff a far smoother experience. At the same time it delivered a valuable data foundation with insight into attendance numbers, consumption patterns and how the event ran, which can be used for planning, optimisation and future decisions.

Wristbands with an RFID chip
The solution was based on RFID wristbands with integrated tickets and made it possible to handle both catering and access simply and smoothly throughout the event.
Scanners
The handheld scanners were delivered fully set up with a built-in SIM card that works across Europe. They simply had to be switched on, and the volunteers were then ready to scan.
Dashboard
Event IT's dashboard delivered live data on attendance numbers, queues and consumption patterns. This data was used to improve the user experience while the event ran, and can also be used in planning next year's PowerCup.
